Touching.. At first, I was indifferent to story about Morrie, even it was translated English to Korean. Actually, I knew it as a novel. Am I a ignorant like this? I felt sorry for myself. Anyway, the purpose of this story was written is for thesis which describe a lesson of life as a main topic.
Times couldn
't obstruct love between the coach and the athlete. Mitch never recollect his past only ran staring at front side. Then one day, he met news like a bolt from the blue sky in any chance. It was his professor's interview that he talked about life and death. Unfortunately, his old professor had already come down with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, ALS. He was suffering from extreme pain. For the first time he reminded of his coach at once. His health was bad, but he never expressed pain outside. Surprisingly, he was in the same state comparing to 16 years ago. What made him so resolute? Why he didn't feel sad about himself. Maybe he accepted it as proper. He was thankful for everything around him in the worst situation. Above all, he considered love and relationships is the most important thing. So like that situation he had a lot of people whom he loved very much and who loved him a lot, including his family. Mitch was one of them. The most moving statement is this. "Forgive everyone." I realized something remain in my mind forever. Right. It can't be real true lesson. Anyone has trouble with other but should forgive each otehr. Moreover, I saw scene as if it prove Morrie's word. "Forgiveness is always big assignment for everyone. But after enforcing it directly, nothing is better than it." Perhaps forgiveness exists by oneself.They called themselves as a people on Tuesdays because of their meeting dates. Mitch knows what is real important thing on his life gradually, he opened his mind to his coach seriously. He felt his coach was worse than before whenever he visited Morrie. But Morrie never lost his smile. Later, he could be generous on shyness which he most worried to. He felt his death by the light of nature. The more he does, he is ready his tomorrow thoroughly.
Mitchnarrates at his universities and presents by turns. They are gifts for one another. They felt comfortable when they were together. Their existence was big energy for one another. They share their friendship deeply beyond ages and years. The lecture that Morrie gave us was not an usual thing because it was originated from his experience and it included his philosophy. Morrie's outlook was haggard as time goes by, but that serious illness could not break his spirits. I thought of life and death by this opportunity. Knowing his death himself before his dying, it maybe it was so hard for him. However, Morrie take it as a chance of readying for his death. He mentioned the importance of what we're losing in modern society. It's true love between person A and person B. At the first tim eMorrie met Mitch, Morrie said Mitch that he wanted to become a friend with Mitch. In the end, they became a great friends. This story is end of Morrie's funeral. His family and Mitch remind remembrance with Morrie. Also, there's nothing better than family. From this book, I felt I'm in the best situation. I'm appreciative of everything around me. If we could embrace each other without restraint, them it would be okay. Naturally, a person cannot live alone. World grows maturely by communicating with each other. An old man, and a young man's life's greatest lesson will be helpful beyond countries, and generation.
